Itinerary for a 1-Day Dolphin Watching Tour:

Morning:

• Pick-up from Hotel: Most tours provide a pick-up service from your hotel in Zanzibar. You’ll be picked up early in the morning, around 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, depending on the tour company.
• Travel to Kizimkazi Village: The tour heads south to the small village of Kizimkazi, which is about 1 to 1.5 hours from the main island's resorts. Kizimkazi is famous for its dolphin population, particularly the bottlenose and humpback dolphins.

Dolphin Watching:

• Boat Ride: Upon reaching Kizimkazi, you'll embark on a boat ride in the Indian Ocean with a guide and local fishermen. The waters around Kizimkazi are known for being home to a significant number of dolphins, so there’s a high chance of spotting them.
• Swimming with Dolphins (optional): If the conditions are right and the dolphins are close enough, you might have the opportunity to swim with them. It’s an exciting experience, but keep in mind that dolphins are wild animals, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
